"21"

I went to the movie "21" with my friend, Miss Epi, yesterday. It was pretty good. It is about the MIT blackjack team and based on the Book, Bringing Down the House. It was funny, we watched a movie about a bunch of geeks from MIT and then we drove by Gamestop where people (different kind of geeks) were lined up the night before the release of Grand Theft Auto 4.

Graffiti

I have been a single parent for the last couple of days so I haven't had time to post. I've got some photos to share and I hope to find time today to do that. On a more serious note, I noticed some graffiti on some of the trailers over at the new school. It had to be done last night as it wasn't there yesterday. I can't tell if there was any graffiti on the new school or not. I will post some pics later. It kinda creeps me out. I had to let my dogs out at 1am this morning and now I wonder if that is why they wanted out. I don't believe the graffiti was there at the time. I look directly out at these trailers as they face our dog pen. Added to the fact, I was the only adult in the house makes me uneasy.

It was a busy preschool week. Chuckles was the Star of the Week in his preschool class. He got to bring a scrapbook about him, be line leader, sit in the golden chair, and wear the special crown. He got the star treatment.

This Thursday we went with Preschool to the fire station. I believe that was the highlight of the week for Chuckles. Chuckles has had either on his crown or the fire helmet on for the last couple of days. It was my 3rd time to see the Sparky movie. Hey, we all have our claim to fame. I am also the same person who sprayed flame retardant into their face, too and set their oven on fire. Hey, I'm not perfect. Glad we got that out into the open.

Spring Break

Chuckles, Maynard, #1 Son, and Fast Eddy

Here are some of our Spring Break Photos from Spring Canyon Community Park. The toes the boys are standing on were in the park. The park boast a 100 acres and had a very neat playground that was universally accessible. It had a climbing hill that included sounds. One of the sounds was a loud heartbeat that kinda took us all by surprise. We ended our cold and windy trip to the park with a donut because everything is better with a donut. We had such a great time hanging out with the Cousins, Grandpa, and Grandma. It was a great break in the words of #1 Son.

Mac & Blue Cheese with Bacon

Read no further if you are not a blue cheese lover. I know some of you who read this blog cannot stand Blue Cheese. This post is not for you. No, Mrs Respiratory Therapist I don't want to hear your medical description of Blue Cheese. I still listen to San Diego Radio in the morning on the Internet and they had Sam the Cooking Guy on and the DJ (Dave) kept going on and on about this dish. So, I tried it and it is really enjoyable and definitely not low cal. It can be found on Sam the Cooking Guy's website. Definitely check it out if you love blue cheese.Of course everything served with bacon is better. This is part of what I am serving tonight.

Walk on the Wild Side Day

In honor of my Sister's and Nephew's Birthday today, here is my contribution to walk on the wild side day. It has been a long day today. The wrecking crew and I flew from Denver to here today. Our day started at 3 am. I hope to post some more pictures from our Spring Break in the coming days. My camera ate my chip so I had it extracted at Best Buy today and this photo was on it. Enjoy!

Redneck gardening

I think the picture speaks for itself. I am leaving for spring break, tomorrow and needed my little starts to survive. I had to think outside of the box or inside the bottle so to speak. Here is recycling at it's best.
