Pumpkin Shelfie- First Day of Fall

Well not quite a shelfie but a display on top of my china cabinet. I thought a pumpkin display would last me into November. This is all stuff I have in my collection. 

Valentine Shelfie

 

It is officially February 1st, so I think sharing some Valentine decor is a good idea.  This is above my kitchen sink. I have had the Kim Anderson figurines for a long time.  I got the valentine mailbox from Walgreens this year.  and the valentine pics from the dollar store.

This display is my dining room on top of my china cabinet. This is all stuff I have had in my fall stash. Still not in a rush to pull out the Christmas quite yet.

Ghost Shelfie

I couldn't resist this ghost drinking coffee print from Etsy. I have a digital download weakness. This print makes me smile.  I had a 5 x 7 printed at Walgreens on a 50% deal.  I had the frame.

Gothic Coffee Halloween Shelfie

 This gothic coffee Halloween shelfie is very similar to last year. I added mini bones and a skull. I got from the dollar store. I did paint and wipe them off. I like the aged look.

My favorite part was the skulls in my Madrid depression glass jar.  I just like it.

4th of July Shelfie

Happy 4th of July

Sometimes you just need to dress up the top of your china cabinet. There is nothing new up here. I just added bit and bobs in the style of My Weathered Home.  Definitely not as full as Emily's displays nor filled with all the antique goodies.

The boot glass is Anchor Hocking and my Grandma Bettie got it for me from the outlet store. I thought it looks great with the addition of some flowers and flags.

Easter Shelfie

 

Just a little Easter shelfie. My Mom sent home with me some of my embroidery. These rabbits are like over 40 years old. I am old. I thought they added a little something to the shelfie. I thrifted the floral plate behind the rabbit from a local thrift shop.  The ceramic eggs I thrifted long ago. Not entirely satisfied with this shelfie but it was fun. The top shelf needs more work.

These shelves are above my sink in the kitchen.  The figurines are Kim Anderson.  My parents gave me 3 of the 4. I think they are cute. I guess they are considered vintage very kitsch. 

Christmas Tree Shelfie

Yes, I have a miniature tree shelfie problem.  I particularly like the glass ones. Wait, I like them all. Maybe that is my problem. Above is my above sink shelf.  Probably needs some twinkle lights.  The deer are antiques.  Not entirely sure how to make this pop better. 

Below is the open hutch is in my kitchen. I love my lighted houses. I filled that baby up with trees. I added battery powered lights.

Pumpkin Shelfie

Nope not ready to transform my dining room to Christmas.  I have these pumpkins on top of my China Cabinet.  The clock was my Grandma Marvel's. 

I also have fall on my kitchen sink display. I have my little November girl.  I think I got her from my Aunt Sharon a thousand years ago.

Gothic Coffee Halloween Shelfie

 

I changed it up a bit this year. I added Spanish moss to coffee mugs and coffee pots. I also have the skeleton hands. Hands from the Dollar Tree.  The Fortune sign is also from the Dollar Tree.  I really like it. Now if I can only get the bottom shelf from being a dumping ground for my family.

2022 Gothic Floral Coffee Shelfie We have lost the glass doors and changed the color of the cabinet. I am really liking this year's version.

Summer to Fall Shelfie

It doesn't feel like fall here yet. It has been a very hot summer. Public school has started here, however.  I thought I would show you my transitional shelfies.  I added in some different florals (dollar tree) and printed off some free sunflower art.  I moved more of my Madrid glassware (amber glass) above my sink.  It feels good to change it up.  I also got out some other figurines I had in my china cabinet.

The egg cup half is from my best friend. There is a ceramic egg in there. She was with me when I found the bag of ceramic eggs.  The only thing I purchased was the bunny from Walmart. I saw someone DIY a bigger bunny on a stick that also was cute.

House to Home - Valentine Shelfie

 

Too Soon? This is all stuff minus the canister from my Loveland/Valentine collection. I am just so so with the current set up. 

Glass Canister from the dollar spot at Target - Large canister $5 and 2 smaller canister set $5.  I like the little hearts at top.

House to Home - China Cabinet Shelfie

 Our kitchen has a built-in china cabinet. I have been working on making it look good. The glass doors don't slide the best. Our last kitchen had a coffee theme, so I styled the top shelf in that theme

Left side of top shelf. Coffee sign was from tractor supply. The rest of the decor was thrifted. 

This is the right side of top shelf. The "Back to Grind" was from Hobby Lobby some years back. The cup, coffee grinder, kettle, and mug were thrifted. The glass apple was a gift.

Middle Shelf look has my glass candle stick collection, Madrid depression glass, and thrifted scale. The bottom shelf is totally random with some wine glasses.

Spring Shelfie

 I finally took down the Valentine decor. It is so hard for me. I am struggling a bit with this shelfie. I don't like the bottom shelf left side.  I of course shopped my house. Below is what I came up with.

All the brass is figurines from Kevin's Nanna's collection.  Amber bottle my husband found at work. Black clock is from Target long ago. The print is a digital download, but I am not entirely sure from where I downloaded it from. Green vase was found in our last house. Green glass vase with greenery is from Hobby Lobby last spring. The glass plate is a reproduction of a madrid glass pattern. The jars are filled with green seaglass and green buttons. 

I am always inspired by My Weathered Home displays.  I will keep tweaking this until I am entirely satisfied.  

Valentine Shelfie

 Is it too soon?  I have had this up since last week.  I know but I  just have Valentine's on the brain and it was looking so bare. This is very similar to the display I did last year. 

This was all stuff I had.  I am contemplating one small change in one of the frames.  However it is with all things I have on hand.  The figurines are Kim Anderson.  My Mom and Dad gifted them to me many many valentine's ago in my teen years.
