Inappropriate Thoughts
I think the new of Pope should just be called Pope Bob. Pope Leo XIV just doesn't roll off the tongue. I am not catholic but have been immersing myself in all things catholic lately. I have a fascination with different religions. The Pope's brothers have been cracking me up. He plays words with friends and wordle with one of his brother's. In a interview one brother said they use to tease him that he was too holy and if he didn't stop that he would become Pope. (foreshadowing) I don't think the Vatican is ready for an American Pope.
Deep Thoughts
I saw this Instagram post by Outside Magazine about a lady's favorite tree that she visits. I was saddened that I don't have a special tree here in New Mexico. I am officially weird. I realize I did have a favorite tree or trees when I lived in Washington. It was in Ferndale along Imhoff road. I saw these trees daily during the week transporting my son back and forth to his job. I noticed the trees because of the eagles.
Unpopular Opinion
I don't like Mother's Day. I do love my mother, and I am a mother. I love celebrating my mom but I don't really like it for myself. I don't like the typical mother day things. I really just want a nap and to be left alone.
