I really like parades. My best friend likes parades. It was so much fun to watch the band in the parade with my son marching. The first parade my youngest marched in was at Oak Harbor, WA Holland Days. I must tell you finding the required white pants was a royal pain. Who thinks white pants are a good thing for a middle school boy? He is the trumpet player next to the girl. I can honestly saying playing in Band was transforming for my son.
