In part this quote, makes me mad. I would ask better questions if I had better information. Since I have arrived in the Land of Entrapment I have never ever in my life asked so many questions.  I think as humans we tend to ask questions and only accept answers that fit our narrative. I could do better, and this quote has been bouncing around in my brain.

Yes, I am a middle-aged woman who just really like Dame Lillard. I am so pleased that he has found a new home with the Bucks.  

Is it me or do the deer up above look possessed. I will probably watch the Bucks, but I am not going intentionally listen to his Rap music. I am still a Trail Blazer fan but dang it stings to lose Dame.

Deep Thoughts

I listened to a very short Podcast on knowing how to walk out of the room.  The podcast is The Next Right Thing.  Emily Freeman has written a book on that comes out in March 2024. I refer to Dame Lillard in my inappropriate thought NBA player that realizes he is not in the right room. Dame outgrew this room. He played for the Trailblazers for 11 years.  He long had said he would stay with the Trailblazers for his career.  Despite giving it his best effort, he realized that he needed to leave. 

I think we can all relate to not fitting in or outgrowing a place.

Pallet Pumpkin Lanterns

I was inspired by the cedar fence post pumpkin lanterns.  I am more of a do with what you have kind of gal.  My husband actually did all the work.  I am the idea person.  Ha Ha That is a skill that I am amazing at.

He took a pallet apart.  He used a planer to mill the wood to the same size.  He has been borrowing a laser cutter, so he used it to cut out the face.

This all the stuff the average crafter does not have.  We did not purchase any wood or materials for this project. I linked below some more average crafting pumpkin lanterns made with cedar fencing.

I asked him to make them to be able to nest for storage purposes. The stems have magnets so they can be removed for storage purposes. He countersunk the magnets.
