Word to Your Mother - Dry Erase Boards

I like using picture frames with glass as dry erase boards.  I think it is a step above the white board you put in your locker in High School.  Currently I have 2 dry erase boards that have been made out of cupboard doors that have been modified with glass.  The two quotes I have been on there for a while. They hang in my family room. It is difficult to get a good picture because the light really reflects off the glass.

Word to Your Mother - My Little Friend

I think I am a plant lady or a plant hoarder.  I really can't decide which.  I love big plants and I cannot lie.  The pic above is of my aloe.  It is huge surrounded by all its little babies.  I believe my Mother in Law gave me the original plant and I think it is about 13 years old.

It has gotten so dark and gloomy here in the Pacific Northwest.  Fall has officially arrived with lots of rain.  My coffee drinking increases substantially when the weather is bad.

Word to Your Mother - #TBT Secret Facility

This throw back Thursday goes with my post on Monday about sidewalk chalk.  My son and his friend loved playing with sidewalk chalk.  They cracked me up one time with their drawing of their "SECRET FACILITY"

Haunted House Craft Revisited

19 year old

It seems to be TRADITION at our house to make these construction paper haunted house.  We made these about a week ago. The Halloween Season wouldn't be complete without them. My 19 year old even made one.

Mine

My daycare kid (7)

I have been using the pattern from Sarah Jane Studios. I have done my own pattern in the past.  I don't think the pattern above is especially easy to cut out.  I use an exacto knife for the windows. We used stickers.  These certainly can be elaborate as you want.

Word to Your Mother - Wordy Wednesday

This I put up for the first day of school.  I know a little dark but funny.  My youngest started High School the day I put this up.
